Come

Same old house as the one below. Edited differently for that golden vintage feel. This house has so much potential for dramatic photography, I only scratched the surface with a few shots. My bladder was full so we had to get out of there, plus I was concerned about being ran off because at one point in time there was a no trespassing sign on the front door (although its not there now). People drive by and scream like they are trying to scare us. It's thought to be haunted I'm sure.

House

I feel this photo truely represents the style of photography that I've always envisioned for myself and hoped to pursue and attain my entire life. To me, for me, the subject must be screaming in a subtle way. There must be strong emotion, wonder or mood evoked by the viewer. I want you to feel discomfort, fear, perhaps even pain.

Welcome to my doom.

Day 5

Room to Run

I took this photo a few weeks ago, but I like it so much I have to share. This was entered into the Country Life II challenge on DPC but didn't score well. This was our first snow of the year and the kids were having a blast.

Day 4

Nanuk

Neighbor dog. Never leaves. I guess you could call him my dog. All he wants is to be near my dog Rocket (an austrailian sheperd). They are both young and playful. I took this near dusk yesterday, had to use ISO 400 to get enough light on him.

Day 3

Victorian Era

The weather was cold and bleak, so I decided to try something new and dreary. I think I pulled it off. My poor model is my daughter. I promise she is a happy child most of the time this photo just had a life of its own and came out vintage. I am finally coming into acceptance that I love moody portraits. I have all my life. Is that bad?

Day 2

Hauntingly Holly

Photo taken at an abandoned house near mine. I love her vacant expression. Her eyes are actually dark hazel but I exploited them for the sake of art. I love how she photographs, so much to work with.

Day 1

Day 1

Darkness Falls

Taken in an abandoned house near mine. It was fun creeping around taking pics. This is my first entry. More moodiness to come. Stay Tuned. And add me to your fricken list will ya? :)
